The contemporary style of decorating is hyper-focused on simplicity, with lots of clean lines, texture, and subtle sophistication, which creates an overall effect that’s both sleek and fresh and entirely separate from the modern farmhouse aesthetic.
When it comes to contemporary decor, the key is being mindful and intentional. Past Third & Main Contemporary boxes have included pieces with beautiful glass textures, metallic accents, and organic elements. Like the Modern Farmhouse box, members can expect five to six pieces per box and options for personalizing. Third & Main’s Fall 2022 Contemporary Box options
The Luxe box
In 2022, Third & Main launched the Luxe box, and it’s aptly named. The focus is on prestige items and brands for an over-the-top, luxurious experience that begins when the oversized box arrives. The Luxe box sold out on its debut, which tells you a lot – clearly, the world was ready for a decor box at a significantly higher price point!
Subscribers to the Luxe box are in for a treat. Think interior designer in a box – it’s filled with high-end pieces that stand alone or work beautifully together. This is an ultra-luxurious, upscale version of the Contemporary box with stylish finds that you’d find in your favorite boutique. The fall 2022 Luxe box, for example, includes options like velvet pillows, preto agate photo frames, and stunning glass hurricanes.
Luxe box members are also automatically enrolled into a prestigious VIP program with a few extra perks.

How does a Third & Main membership work?
Customer service is a priority for Third & Main, so the membership process is designed for simplicity. Once you’ve decided which box best suits your aesthetic and budget, you just add it to the cart and follow the steps to check out. You’ll receive your product selection survey within 24 hours of purchase. Keep in mind that options go quickly, so depending on when you subscribe, you may have limited options for your first box.
Subscriptions are recurring, and you’ll be automatically charged for each seasonal box unless you cancel. To do so, you just need to log in and cancel before the 15th of each month. Cancellations made after the 15th will be applied to the next seasonal box.
Members have the option of pausing or skipping one box per calendar year – you just need to contact Third & Main directly. Returns on items in your box aren’t accepted, but if anything arrives damaged, the company is happy to offer replacements.

We received items from Third & Main’s Fall 2022 Contemporary Box and we loved them!
